Delta and KOMSA form sales partnership for Delta UPS products — New partnership strengthens Delta’s position in traditional IT channel

ICT vendor KOMSA adds Delta UPS models for server and network applications to provide resellers and customers a portfolio of solutions at outstanding prices for the performance offered.

Delta, one of the world’s leading providers of power equipment and power management solutions, has announced a new partnership with KOMSA. The new distribution contract strengthens Delta’s channel sales in Germany and its position in the IT market here while ensuring new sales opportunities for its 1 to 20 kVA uninterrupted power supply (UPS) models.

The ICT Distributor KOMSA will add the following UPS solutions from Delta to its portfolio: In the 1 kVA and higher segment, single-phase UPS models in the Amplon product line will offer suitable solutions for server and networking applications. Datacenters and industrial applications can take advantage of the three-phase online UPS systems in the Ultron family, which range from 10 kVA to 20 kVA. The three-phase modular online UPS models of the Modulon family are for requirements over 20 kVA. These solutions employ a modular design that makes it possible to precisely match capacity with the actual performance that is required. This enables energy-efficient rightsizing and flexible scalability of UPS systems together with power redundancy, all with a very compact footprint.

“Delta is a renowned manufacturer and represents an outstanding addition to our portfolio. With the UPS solutions from Delta, our dealers and systems integrators have gained high-quality products with excellent price-performance ratios to offer their customers. This will help those customers make good investments in modern IT as part of their digital transformations,” said KOMSA head of B2B sales Steffen Ebner.

Jackie Chang, Delta’s President & General Manager for EMEA, commented on the partnership, “We’re very pleased about our cooperation with KOMSA. It’s going to drive sales of our UPS solutions in the 1 to 20 kVA range for IT applications in Germany and strengthen our German IT channel sales.”

Astrid Hennevogl-Kaulhausen, head of MCIS/UPS sales in Germany at Delta’s Mission Critical Infrastructure Solutions (MCIS) division, added: “KOMSA is the ideal sales partner for our UPS portfolio. We’re very much looking forward to working with them. I think the outstanding quality of our products combined with attractive conditions is going to benefit resellers and customers alike and make this partnership a success.”
