New office opening in Dallas

In January 2009, Delta launched Delta Greentech USA, Corp. Based in Richardson, Texas, the new business focuses on DC Power systems solutions for the telecoms market.

Delta’s decision to establish US operations in Texas was based on the company’s commitment to serve the North American service provider market with DC power product lines. Richardson, Texas, is a hub for telecommunications technology and customers in North America. The Richardson headquarters will be home to marketing and sales, R&D, customer service and technical support, operations, and training.

“We have a unique opportunity to serve a customer segment that has seen a tremendous amount of consolidation while experiencing enormous growth and development in technologies,” says Mike O’Brien, who has been nominated as Vice President and General Manager of the North America Market Unit.

“Delta is uniquely positioned to address these customer requirements with its global scale, technology and product lines. Our leadership in highly efficient, reliable power products and important alternative energy solutions are what we bring to the North American market,” O’Brien finishes.

Delta Electronics Inc. unveils full line of LED lighting products

In mid-January Delta Electronics Inc. announced that it has finished the development of a full line of advanced energy-saving LED lighting products. The portfolio includes 14 new indoor and outdoor products. The new products support Delta in pursuing energy efficiency and carbon reductions. The new outdoor street lights, for instance, are the most efficient among all comparable products in Taiwan.
