Delta Electronics Brings Energy-Saving Breakthrough to Data Centers with the Launch of InfraSuite at Hannover Messe 2014

Amsterdam, Apr. 07, 2014 - Delta Electronics, Inc., the leading global provider of power and thermal management solutions, announces it will unveil an energy-conservation breakthrough technology for data centers through the launch of InfraSuite Datacenter Infrastructure Solutions at Hannover Messe 2014 for the entire EMEA region. InfraSuite’s added value is cemented on pillars such as scalability, high integration, manageability, ease-of-maintenance and modularity, all essential elements for data centers that envision significant energy savings.

In the current era of Big Data, the explosive growth in internet traffic is boosting demand for data centers that require high power supply density and create severe heat dissipation problems, which leads to a massive increase on the energy consumption of the cooling systems. Delta is determined to help enterprises around the world to achieve up to 25% energy savings in their data centers through the implementation of our energy-saving solution.

InfraSuite is a comprehensive yet modular datacenter infrastructure solution that includes:

    • Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) with superior power performance (kVA=kW), industry-leading AC-AC efficiency (95% at 30% light load and 96% from 50% load) and hot-swappable design for key modules that enables a close to zero Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) without downtime risk.
    • Advanced Power Distribution Cabinets (PDC) with key flexibility and scalability features to match current and future power distribution requirements while lowering our clients’ initial investment meaningfully.
    • Power Distribution Units (PDU) to ensure proper power distribution and complete power protection to devices inside racks.
    • Cutting-edge precision cooling (RowCool) technology which leverages Delta’s multi-decade track record in thermal management for electronics and solves problems such as load variations for peak and off-peak periods, high power density and uneven heat distribution that traditional air conditioning fails to address properly.
    • Delta’s Environment Management System (EMS) which enables smoother data center operations by providing a comprehensive and real-time monitoring of the environment and control of the entire platform. InfraSuite Manager – Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system can easily integrates all facility and IT equipment on one platform simultaneously.
    • Modular server racks (and accessories) that increase space utilization and heat dissipation via 70% perforation to meet high density IT room requirements.

InfraSuite and its Environment Management System (EMS) were implemented in the datacenters worldwide with major energy efficiency success and a comprehensive datacenter monitoring and management.
